Step1
Rescue Remedy
The first thing that helps me to de-stress is Rescue Remedy. I highly recommend this product. You can even give it to stressed animals. It is homeopathic and no side effects. It is inexpensive and so easy to use. It comes in drops or I use it in the spray form. You can get this at any vitamin store locally or online. I have added the link to the online store that I shop at. Low Prices and shipping and great service too. And if you use the code YEL849 the first time you shop there, you get $5 off your order!
Step2
Yummalicious!
Chocolate has properties in it that helps with your stress level. The best is a small portion (1 oz.) of dark chocolate. I, however, have found that for me, a large bag of Peanut M&M's works well.
Step3
Hahahahahaha!
Laughter is the best medicine. Read a funny book. Watch a good comedy. Watch toddlers play. Join in! Make funny faces with your kids. Be silly!
Step4
Ahhhhhhhhhh...
Soak in a bubble bath. Water and bubbles are very soothing. Try to use a fragrant bubble bath. Lavender is calming. Just relax. Lock bathroom door.
Step5
Get rid of it!
Be a minimalist. Less clutter around you, makes less clutter in your mind. Sell it or donate items.
Step6
Ohm
Meditate. Clear your mind of all things or go elsewhere in your mind. When I meditate, I am in another space, on a deserted tropical island. Think warm air, sunshine, a breeze, sand, etc. Whatever works for you. This will also calm your breathing.
Step7
Pretty
Garden. I have a friend that does gardening to help her de-stress. Being out in the fresh air working with plants and dirt does that for her. If you are a city girl like me who doesn't like to worry about scorpions, snakes, spiders, bees and other wildlife, you can do indoor gardening.
Step8
Tea
Have a warm cup of tea. Use honey to sweeten if needed. There are several teas out there formulated for stress or just drink any decaf tea that you like. Drink slowly and savor it.
Step9
Mona Vie Active Blend
One thing that has really helped me (and my friend too) is drinking Mona Vie. This is not a plug. I drink Mona Vie and it has helped me tremendously. It gives me energy and has helped me control my asthma. Being able to take a deep breath really helps me de-stress.
Step10
B-Complex
Take a B-Complex. These are your stress vitamins and also good for energy.
Step11
Lotion
This is good if you are at work. Keep a bottle of lotion at work. Take a moment and use it on your hands. Rub in good. Use one that you like the scent. Lavender is calming.
Step12
I am AWESOME!
Above all, believe in yourself. Know that you are awesome.
