Today I will show you the most efficient way I know to upgrade your iPod that I aquirred through trial and error.
Please note, the 1.1.3 Jailbreak is new, so there are a few bugs. Upgrade at your own risk.
Note, I will revise my articles frequently because new methods always pop up. Easier methods come about all the time.
This method should take less than 10 minutes, play DRM'd music, having SummerBoard working perfectly, and have Customize working.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A iPod touch on any firmware
  • Wifi
  1. Step 1

Connect your iPod to your computer. In iTunes, click, "Restore". When it's done restoring, and iTunes asks you to name your iPod, Eject the iPod, but keep it connected. Then completely exit out of iTunes.

  2. Step 2

Download the latest version of Ziphone (it honestly doesn't matter which version you use, but the newest ones are usually quicker). When Ziphone has completed downloading on your computer, the icon will be a little iPhone. Click it and kill all iTunes processes, including helper with Activity Helper, if you have a Mac.

  3. Step 3

Select Jailbreak and within moments your iPod will be truly jailbroken!
