During Christian Slater’s reign as a teen idol, he starred in a kick-ass movie called, “Pump Up the Volume.” In this visual and sonic masterpiece, Slater plays a high school student who broadcasts a show using a pirate radio station. Using a few accessories, you could do this too, but you probably won’t resemble Jack Nicholson.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

Step1
Pull the antenna out of an iTrip FM transmitter.
Step2
Record the radio show to your computer and upload it to your iPod's podcasts.
Step3
Set the iTrip to whatever station on which you want the broadcast to piggyback.
Step4
Press "Play."

Tips & Warnings

  • The iTrip has a short range, but other more expensive FM transmitters can broadcast the show to a wider audience.
