How to Make Fast Money

Have you ever found yourself needing money and didn’t know where it would come from? With just a little imagination, you can generate some fast money to get you out of a crisis. If you would like to know how, read on to find out.

1. Go to garage sales and look for items that you can clean or paint; sell these items to generate fast money. Another avenue is to drive through well-to-do areas on the weekends and look for items placed by the curbside. People often clean on the weekends and dispose of items they don’t want.
2. Drive through luxury apartments on the last of the month or around that time. It’s common for tenants to throw away things when they’re getting ready to move. You can often find wooden chairs, technical items and other useful things that you can simply pickup and sell for some fast cash.
3. Sand old chairs, tables or any wooden item. Stain or paint it then clear coat it. Buy a small piece of tapestry from your local fabric store and upholster it. It does not take very much money and you can resell the item for much more than what you paid.
4. Paint mirrors with ceramic or wooden borders and give them an antique look. You can accomplish this by spray-painting it black, dark green or red. Buy gold leaf and apply it to the item over the paint. It'll make an old mirror look new, traditional and elegant. You can apply the same procedure to picture frames and ceramic vases.
5. Turn wrought iron items into fast cash by spray-painting them to make them look new. You can use black or green paint (sea foam). Italian and French décor uses wrought iron decorations. Use this procedure on candle holders, wall decorations and picture frames to help you get some fast cash.
6. Advertise a tag sale. Put price tags on the items you have restored and neatly display them in your garage or in your yard. Reduce any items left at the end of the sale to make sure that you get rid of everything. This way you can generate enough fast money to keep your lights on, buy groceries or help you get through a critical situation.
