How to fill your bird feeder easily

A easy way to add the bird seed to your backyard feathered friends feeders.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • one gallon or half gallon milk jugs. Cleaned and dry.
  • a utility knife
  • duct tape
  1. Step 1

    Wash and dry the milk jugs, including the lids.(Must be screw on lids).

  2. Step 2

    Start at least two inches from the bottom of the handle and cut the bottom of the jug off. Cut three inch strips of the duct tape and place
    over the edges of the jug that was cut.

  3. Step 3

    With the lid on the jug, fill with the bird seed. Carrying jug filled with the bird seed to the feeder. After removing the top of the feeder just pour out the seed from the jug. You can either place the jug over the feeder and remove the lid and let it pour in or just pour out the side.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can make the jug as high as you want it to be.
  • The edges where you cut the jug will be sharp so be careful handling it when putting on the duct tape
