1
Prepare your invitations, including pictures of at least one bracelet your guests could make at your party. Invite novice beaders along with experienced bead artists so that your experienced guests can assist your novice guests. Host an open house rather than a scheduled party time to allow guests to come and go freely and to reduce the risk of too many guests attempting to use the supplies at once.

Purchase a variety of colors, styles and sizes of beads, making sure that your smallest beads are large enough to thread through your bracelets. Choose gold, silver and black bracelets that have a unscrewable end to allow your guests to easily complete their bracelet without tools. Purchase metal spacers in the same colors as your bracelets to allow your guests to separate beads along the bracelet. Purchase several sets of pliers to allow several guests to use spacers simultaneously.

Plan your party to start during the early afternoon and extend to just before dinner time, as the daylight will complement your beads and aid your guests in color selection. Pull open your window coverings to allow the daylight to flood the beading room. Serve light finger foods to welcome your guests and to encourage conversation over the finished bracelets.

Prepare your home by setting up one large beading table, with adequate seating around. Place all of your beads in the center of the table, organizing them by color. Sort your beads before the party and place them in small jewelry boxes, preferably white boxes to showcase the bead colors. Provide a bead board for each guest so that each guest can style her bracelet prior to stringing it. Make yourself available to your novice guests throughout the party to assist them in their design or completion of the bracelet.
