How to Stay Healthy Through Basic Supplements.

Step1
Consuming Omega-3 fatty acids, found in fish oil, may reduce the risk of coronary heart disease. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) determined that while this is not a 100% proven fact, it approves consumption of the Fish Oil tablets because the Omega-3 fatty acids may help maintain healthy joints, healthy brain cells and lower cholesterol levels and triglycerides.
Step2
Taking Vitamin E on a daily basis is good for the body' s immune system and brain functions as well. Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant. It also helps protect the eyes, lungs, skin and heart health.
Step3
The supplement B-Complex vitamins are necessary for producing and releasing energy in the body, help protein metabolism and red cell production. They are essential for a healthy nervous system, mental and emotional health and stress defense. Vitamin B-complex helps promote healthy skin, hair and eyes. Since they are water soluble, Vitamin B-complex supplements cannot be stored in your body and must be replaced every day.
Step4
Making sure you take Vitamin C every day provides your body with powerful antioxidants which are critical for the proper function of the immune system and tissue maintenance. Vitamin C helps your body absorb and utilize other nutrients such as Vitamin E.

Tips & Warnings

  • It is best to use brand-name vitamins and supplements and not use those purchased in discount stores as they may be outdated. Therefore they would not have the same effect as a better known brand or ones that are not outdated.
  • Always ask your physician or health care professional before starting on a vitamin regimen. Make sure these nutrients are needed in your body before taking them.
