1. Consider the age of your pet rock’s friends. Then pick a suitable party time and date. If your pet rock has young friends, keep their curfews in mind. Remember that it isn’t cool to throw a pet rock party on a school night. If all of your pet rock’s friends are adults, plan the party for early evening so they can party all night long.
2. Choose a location for your pet rock’s party. Atmosphere is crucial to getting pet rocks into the party mood. They are not going to let their hair down and relax just anywhere. They need to feel free to turn up their music and laugh hysterically without fearing someone will call the police or complain about the noise.
3. Invite your pet rock’s friends. Be sure you include everyone; you don’t want any pet rocks in your community to feel left out. If you are having a themed party, include the information on the invitation. It would be embarrassing for everyone to be in a toga and to have a rock arrive naked!
4. Make party hats and decorations for the big event.
5. On the day of the event, make sure everything is ready. This includes food such as popcorn, peanuts, cheese curls and thimbles full of beverages.
6. Help your pet rock to dress for the big event. Set the mood with music and wait for your guests to arrive.
