How to Spot Clean Stains from Wool Fabric Furniture or Carpet
Wool is an ideal choice for furniture or carpet fabric because it is beautiful, luxurious and exceptionally durable. It is also naturally water-repellent so spills will not penetrate rapidly. Catch it quickly and a spill can be cleaned up before it enters the fabric. Wool is also naturally antistatic so unlike other fabrics does not attract dirt, hair and other contaminates. Vacuum your wool furniture and carpet at least once a week to help remove dirt and maintain its natural beauty. Does this Spark an idea?

3
Rinse by blotting repeatedly with a cloth dampened with clean water. Blot moisture away with a dry cloth. Let the area air dry completely before use.
-
4
Blot tough stains with a cloth moistened with a small amount of acetone, benzene or turpentine. Test the cleaner in an inconspicuous area first. Use as little of these products as possible as they can severely damage the foam padding of furniture or carpeting. Blot away cleaner with soap and rinse with water.

Tips & Warnings
The newly cleaned area may appear darker than the surrounding material. However, this should disappear in a short time as the remaining moisture evaporates.
