How to Clean Vegetables Naturally

It's important to remove dirt, wax, and chemical residue from vegetables before ingesting them. You can purchase costly spray cleansers or you can use this method.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

Step1
GET Ready!

Purchase needed items - vinegar, peroxide, 2 empty bottles.
Label each bottle as either vinegar or peroxide.
Fill each bottle with either vinegar or peroxide as labeled.
Step2
WASH VISIBLE DIRT FROM VEGGIES WITH WATER FIRST IF THEY ARE REALLY DIRTY.

Note: If you feel the veggies are not very dirty you can skip this step.

Fill your sink with warm water and submerge your veggies to remove visible dirt that will come off easily.

You can work with one vegetable at a time or do them all at once.
I like making salads and will take out a piece of each veggie and place them into the sink and then I'd remove them one by one and spray with the 2 solutions.
Step3
SPRAY EACH VEGGIE WITH EACH SOLUTION - THE PEROXIDE AND VINEGAR.

It doesn't matter which order you spray the veggies - just use both solutions.
Step4
WAIT A MINUTE OR SO AND THEN LIGHTLY RINSE THE VEGGIES IN WARM WATER.

After you rinse them - either use or store for future use.

Tips & Warnings
