After installing software or a new device driver, your computer may start crashing before startup or right after. Let's try to revert back to the version of Windows right before the installation of the driver or software.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Restart your computer and start pressing the F8 button. This will bring up the Windows Advanced Options menu.

  2. Step 2

Using the arrow keys, move the highlighted selection up or down to Last Known Good Configuration and press Enter.

  3. Step 3

Windows should start booting a version from before it started crashing.
