Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Things You’ll Need:
- chicken wings (500 grams)
- pinch of salt and pepper
- 1 tablespoon of liquid seasoning
- 1 teaspoon of thai red chili sauce
- 1/2 cup of flour or bread crumbs
- oil for deep frying
(for the sauce):
- 2 tablespoon heinz tomato ketchup
- 1 tablespoon lee kum kee oyster sauce
- 2 teaspoon of brown sugar
- 1 clove of garlic (crushed)
- 1/8 cup of water/chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon of thai red chili sauce/ any hot sauce/ fresh chilis (crushed)
Step1
marinate chicken wings with salt, pepper, liquid seasoning and thai red chili sauce for about 1 hour ( overnight marinating in the fridge is better)
Step2
roll chicken to flour and deep fry until golden brown.
Step3
For the sauce, fry garlic in butter until light brown then add the remaining ingredients.simmer for about 2 minutes.
Step4
add the cooked chicken wings to the sauce. let the sauce coat chicken wings and simmer for another 2 minutes or until the chicken absorbs the sauce a bit.
Step5
serve with fresh chilis on top.
