So much for the myth that computers would eliminate the need for paper. You've probably unintentionally run off countless sheets of paper on your printer that are "wasted." This is what we do with those in our household in an effort to reduce our feelings of guilt and of waste.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Computer paper printed on one side.
  • Binder clips.
  • Scissors, or just your hands and the ability to fold and tear paper.

Step1
STACK IT, making sure that the side on which there is printing is facing downward.
Step2
FOLD IT (crudely is fine) into four quadrants. In other words, fold it so that you can cut it into four equal sections.
Step3
CUT IT, using scissors or relatively neat tears, and face all the sheets once again with the ink-printed side facing down.
Step4
BIND IT, using a binder clip that suits the size of your stack of papers.
Step5
USE IT, by clipping a pen to it. Place several of these in scattered areas: by your bed, by your telephone, by your computer, in your car, in your jacket. This way when you need to take or give somebody a note, have an odd thought at 3 a.m. while in bed, or are out at a restaurant and something dawns on you, you'll make practical use of something that you would otherwise have discarded.
