Golf is one of the hardest games to play because there are so many different variables, and even the smallest problem can create bad results. Many people use golf tips to get control of swing flaws or improve their games in one way or another. You can get practical golf tips on every aspect of golf on the GolfLink website. At GolfLink, you will find tips from professional instructors and amateur players. Read on to learn how to get golf tips on GolfLink.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Visit the GolfLink website (see Resources below).

  2. Step 2

Look at the page to find a tab labeled "Tips and Videos." If the words are darker than the other tabs, you are on the page to get tips for your game. If the "Tips and Videos" tab isn't darker than the words of another tab, click the tab to get to the tips.

  3. Step 3

Decide what area of your golf game you want to work on with tips from GolfLink. Consider the part of your game that frustrates you the most or the most inconsistent shot you hit during a typical round of golf. You can also find tips on equipment and the mental aspects of golf.

  4. Step 4

Scan through the list of tips by category, which is located in the middle of the web page. Click the name of the area you want to improve.

  5. Step 5

Choose one of the tips to view from the list on the web page by clicking the title, icon or button by the tip. Look for the "Golf Tips Only" tab to find non-video tips.

Tips & Warnings
  • Pay more attention to tips you get from experienced golfers and low handicappers than those from high handicappers. GolfLink allows each forum poster to list his handicap on his profile.
  • Keep your eye on the goal of creating a better swing as you try to learn new techniques. While your muscles are learning new ways to move, you will probably experience higher golf scores for several rounds. Stick with the changes to see your scores come back down.
  • Every golf instructor has his own interpretation of the swing, teaching philosophy and style. Sometimes the tip from one person will conflict with the tip from another. You can try both tips to find out which one works best for you.
  • Be careful when trying to incorporate too many golf tips into your game at once. When you start changing a lot of different aspects of your game at once, you may hit more bad shots than ever before.
