Step 1

Go to the GolfLink website to join this growing online golf community (see Resources below).
Step 2

Look on the right-hand side of the homepage of GolfLink for options for joining the web community. You can click the "Register" link under "My Profile" or click the "Join Now--It's Free!" button under the words "Not a Member?" to start the registration process.
Step 3

Provide an email address in the box under "Email Address," so that the community administrators can contact you with important information. Type your email address two times.
Step 4

Create a secure password for your membership. Use a minimum of six characters in the password. The more letters and numbers you use, the more secure your account will be.
Step 5

Provide your real name to GolfLink in the boxes under "First Name" and "Last Name." GolfLink keeps your real name private.
Step 6

Choose the name you want people to see while participating in blogs, forums and other aspects of GolfLink.com. You can use your first name or any handle you like to use. Type your name in the box under "Display Name."
Step 7

Provide your street address in the appropriate box. Rest assured that GolfLink doesn't share this address with the general public.

Type your city and state in their respective boxes. City and state information is shared with other people who join GolfLink. If you don't want people to know what city you are in, type in a general name.

Give GolfLink your zip code.
Step 10

Select the country you live in by clicking the drop-down list under "Country" and clicking the name of the country in which you live.

Scan down the sign-up page to view various offers from companies. Some companies offer free trials or other information you may find helpful. These ads help GolfLink offer its website at a low cost to its members.

Put a check in the box next to an offer you are interested in by clicking the box.
Step 13

Submit your information to GolfLink by clicking the "Continue" button at the bottom of the page.

Wait a few seconds for GolfLink to review your information and create your new account. If you didn't enter information in one of the fields, you will be asked to provide it before you can complete the joining process.
