Norco is a Canadian-based company that features a wide range of bicycles for every need. While Norco offers several lines of road bikes, BMX bikes and children's models, the company is famous for its line of mountain terrain bicycles, which uses the latest technologies such as the four-bar Horst link suspension for the ultimate in performance.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Step1
Find a local bike shop that carries the Norco brand of mountain bikes in order to buy one. Norco bikes are sold throughout the world, with dealers in such far-reaching locations as Australia, the United Kingdom, France, Israel, Mexico, New Zealand, Croatia, Iceland and Russia. There are dozens of Norco dealers in the United States and Canada alone.
Step2
Buy the Norco mountain bike to fit your skill level, as well as your budget. Norco offers a dozen different lines of mountain bikes, from the sophisticated Downhill, Gravity and Freeride models (which can cost thousands of dollars) to the Adventure line, which offers more modest bikes for the novice rider. Other Norco mountain bike lines include models that are designed for long distances, rougher terrains and even dirt racing.
Step3
Get properly fitted for a new mountain bike when you buy your Norco. This means choosing the right size bike frame for your body as well as deciding on a type of bike that will adapt to your specific style of riding. Always take the bike out for a test ride before you buy it to determine if it is comfortable and solid and if it fits your needs.
Step4
Choose the right accessories when you buy your Norco mountain bike. The right helmet should be considered mandatory, but you should also look at other safety items such as protective goggles and padding. Don't forget about choosing the right shoes and clothing to go with your new Norco as well.
Step5
Visit the Norco website to see all of the current mountain bike models, along with the suggested list price for each one (see Resources below). You can also find a Norco dealer near you, keep up on news about Team Norco and even create your own online account to post reviews on all of the latest Norco gear.

Tips & Warnings

  • Don't choose a downhill bike for everyday mountain adventures. Downhill bikes tend to be very heavy and can be difficult to ride over varied terrain.
