Instructions
-
-
1
Remove the back from the shadow box and set it aside.
-
2
Cut a piece of ocean or sky scrapbook paper the same size as the shadow box. This will be the background for the sand and sea shadow box.
-
-
3
Create the appearance of sand with a self-adhesive cork board or a sheet of rough sandpaper by cutting a piece about a third the height of the scrapbook paper.
-
4
Cut or tear the top edge of the cork board or sandpaper to give it a "wavy" appearance, and glue it to the scrapbook paper.
-
5
Cut a piece of cardboard smaller than your photographs, if you choose to include photographs in the shadow box. This will give the photographs a 3-D appearance.
-
6
Arrange the seashells any way you like and secure them with glue. Set it aside long enough for the glue to dry thoroughly.
-
7
Replace the back of the shadow box and attach a hanger. The sand and sea shadow box is ready for display.
