1
Stand in a fighter's stance with one leg forward and the other back. The distance between your two legs should be about a shoulder's width. This stance should be solid, with your weight evenly distributed and your center of balance low.

2
Bring your back leg forward and then swing it back when you begin to perform the Superman punch in kickboxing.

3
Punch with the corresponding arm as your leg swings back. In a sense, your leg will be acting as a counterbalance, giving more power to your punch, hence the name of Superman punch. This puts into actions Newton's law: to every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.

Perform the Superman punch in matches, and do not be surprised if you receive more points for doing so. In Thailand, Muay Tai promoters will often pay the fighters more money if they use the Superman punch in their matches. In a recent UFC match, George St Pierre performed the Superman punch to great effect against former UFC welter weight champion, Matt Hughes, managing to stun his erstwhile opponent and score valuable points.
