Instructions

    • 1

Wash the hair and use a good conditioner to keep the hair smooth and healthy. Let the conditioner sit on the hair for about 5 minutes to fully achieve the effect.

    • 2

Mix your highlighting ingredients in a bowl and get a little brush for application. Separate the hair with a comb, and starting with the bottom place a piece of tinfoil under each separate section. Make the sections thin rather than thick to achieve subtle highlights, not chunks throughout the hair.

    • 3

Place the highlight mixture on the hair that you have placed on the foil. Make sure you cover every strand fully so that each piece will be highlighted. Repeat the process with the desired sections on the whole head.

    • 4

Fold the foil over each piece you have highlighted and it process for about 10 minutes for full effect. You can see if it is the color the person wants by doing only a few pieces and then checking the color status.

    • 5

Leave the color on if the person wants light highlights. The longer you leave it on, the lighter the color will get. If they want more of a natural look then, check on the hair in 10 to 15 minutes.
