Instructions

    • 1

Tear bits of the tissue paper into pieces. Place onto the skin where the fake wound is going to be. To add depth to the wound, crumple small bits of tissue paper to be placed around the edges of the open sore.

    • 2

Paint over the tissue paper with liquid latex. Allow the latex to dry. Gently blend the edges of the dried latex into your skin using face powder.

    • 3

Peel out the center section of the latex and tissue to become the inside of the open sore. Leave the crumpled bits of tissue paper intact around the edges of the wound.

    • 4

Dip the cotton ball into the fake blood. Apply blood to the peeled out area to make the flesh look damaged and irritated.

Tips & Warnings

  • Select an area without any hair on it to become the center of your sore for a more realistic look. If there is any hair present in the general area you'll be working in, cover it with petroleum jelly to protect it from being torn out when you remove the makeup.

  • Mixing petroleum jelly into the fake blood before applying it to the wound will make it look especially fresh and bloody. Use a toothpick to mix the two together.
