How to Talk to a Girl in a Group
Approaching a girl that you are interested in when she is surrounded by a group of her friends can be intimidating. You could always wait for your opportunity to talk to her when she is alone but you could be waiting for a long time. Instead, gather your courage and walk right up to the group to pick up that girl.

1
Walk up to the group with confidence. You don't want to come across as cocky but you don't want to appear shy either. Keep your head held high and join the group positioning yourself near the girl you are interested in.
-
2
Address the entire group with an open-ended question that will encourage conversation. Say something like "I am looking for a place to go on vacation over spring break. Anyone have any suggestions?" or "Jim is planning a cook-out next weekend. Has anyone heard the weather forecast?"

3
Direct your conversation towards the girl you want to pickup if she answers your question. The group will accept that you focus your attention on her as long as she initiated conversation with you.
-
4
Ask her a direct question as quickly as you can work it into the conversation if she does not answer your first question that was asked of the group. For example, if someone suggests Virginia for spring break ask her if she has been there.

5
Use body language to let her know that you are interested. Lean towards her when you are talking. Make eye contact with her and hold her gaze for as long as she will allow. Smile when she talks and ask more questions so you can find out more about her.
