Things You'll Need:
- Tweezers or wax
- Stiff bristled eyebrow brush
- Eyebrow pencil
- Clear brow gel or hair spray
-
Step 1
Remove any stray hairs from below the natural arch of your brows and the area between your brows. This ensures that your brow area is well groomed and helps your eyes appear wide and open. You may remove eyebrow hair with tweezers or wax.
-
Step 2
Brush your brows into a pleasing shape with a stiff-bristled brow brush. Brush all the way to the skin to prepare your eyebrows for color.
-
Step 3
Pencil in sparse areas of your eyebrows with a brow makeup pencil that matches or is a shade lighter than your natural brows. Use short strokes and light pressure to avoid harsh lines.
-
Step 4
Repeat the brushing of your brows to ensure that the brow color is distributed all the way to your skin. If your brows are particularly unruly, you may use a clear brow gel designed to set your style. In a pinch, you can also spray a bit of hair spray on your brow brush before brushing and it will hold your eyebrows in place.
