Instructions

    • 1

Check your eyes in a mirror to see if your current look needs refreshing. If your eyeshadow has worn off, begin with a light shade under the brows and a medium shade on the eyelids.

    • 2

Apply the darkest shade from your eyeshadow palette to a clean applicator.

    • 3

Beginning in the center of the eye, swipe eyeshadow from the crease to the outside of the eye. Extend the color slightly past the outside corner of the eye, sweeping upward slightly.

    • 4

Accent your eyes further by applying a thin line of eyeshadow just under the lower lashes. You can also further enhance your evening look by applying a shimmery eyeshadow under your eyebrows.

Tips & Warnings

  • Always use eyeshadow from a palette of 3 related shades. The lightest shade always goes under your eyebrows, the medium shade over the lids and the dark shade in the crease. Skip the dark shade during the day.

  • Eyeshadow should go with the color of your eyes, not your clothing.

  • Cover your lid and browbone with a light layer of concealer before applying eyeshadow and the color will last all day.

  • Be careful when using eyeliner. It should be barely perceptible, and the upper and lower lines should never meet at the corner of the eye.
