A feeble grind is a skateboard move that is similar to a 50-50 and a boardslide. It is a more advanced move so be sure you know how to do the requisite parts of the skateboard trick before you try to put them all together in a feeble grind.

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Put on your safety gear. No matter how skilled a skateboarder you are, accidents can happen and you need to be prepared.

  2. Step 2

Find a rail long enough to perform the trick on. Always be sure you have permission from the owner before using rails for tricks.

  3. Step 3

Approach the rail at an angle. You need to approach with enough speed to grind your skateboard. Be careful not to go too quickly, however, because you do want to maintain control of your skateboard.

  4. Step 4

Pop an Ollie high enough to rise above the rail. Land on your tail with the rail between your trucks. Most of your weight at this point should be on your back truck.

  5. Step 5

Place a little more weight on the front of your skateboard with your foot positioned near the front bolts. Spread your weight as if you are doing a 50-50 grind. If you put too much weight on the back, you can slide too fast. If you put too much weight on the front foot, you can stick and fall forward. Even weight distribution is key for a good feeble grind.

  6. Step 6

Slide down the rail to the end. As you approach the end of the rail, shift your weight back to the rear of the skateboard. Ride out the jump back to the ground and continue on.
