How to Follow Hazardous Waste Disposal Regulations
Businesses who generate hazardous waste are required by law to follow strict disposal regulations. The Resource Conservation Recovery Act (RCRA) of 1976 was created to track hazardous waste from "cradle to grave" and to protect humans and the environment from ramifications of hazardous wastes. Hazardous waste disposal is regulated and enforced by the EPA or your state's hazardous regulatory agency. The information below will help you follow these regulations.
