Step1
Clean your golf shoes thoroughly after every game. Use a quality cleaner that's made for the specific material your shoes are made of to remove mud, dirt and grass from your shoes.
Step2
Soak up the excess water on your shoes with a towel. Then, stuff them with newspapers and allow them to dry completely.
Step3
Keep a set of cedar shoe trees in your golf bag. When not using your shoes, store them with the cedar trees inside. The cedar trees wick away moisture while maintaining the proper form for your shoes.
Step4
Use a shoe horn when putting on your golf shoes to avoid splitting or bending the back of the golf shoe. This helps maintain comfort of the fit and extends the performance of the shoe.
Step5
Store your shoes with the cedar shoe trees inside and place them in a clothes closet or in their original shoe box.
