Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Tighten your ab muscles anytime, anywhere. Pull your stomach in and hold for 10 seconds. Release while blowing out air slowly.
Step2
Make tightening your abs a daily habit when you are in waiting modes and this exercise will be part of your routine. Try it when you're stopped at red lights or when you are put on hold on the phone.
Step3
Crunch while watching television. Exercising in front of the TV makes good sense and can relieve any guilt you might have while watching something totally trashy and non-intellectual.
Step4
Pump up your daily TV crunches by adding weights. Hold a free weight on your chest while crunching.
Step5
Build your ab workout routine gradually. Whether you are doing intense sit-ups in the gym or crunching in front of the tube, start slow and feel a little burn. Add one or two reps per day until you reach a solid ad-strengthening momentum.
Step6
Keep an exercise ball in your house and rock on it while reading a magazine. Lay a book or magazine on the floor and place the ball a foot behind it, so you can read the print. Rock back and forth until you read at least one article.
