Step 1
Know the policies and general philosophy of the nudist colony that you're visiting before you go. Some colonies are family-oriented and don't generally attract those looking for a date, while other colonies are geared towards singles. You're likely to receive more attention at a singles-only colony.
-
Step 2
Set aside the cultural idea that the way someone is dressed (or isn't dressed, as the case may be) causes the way people treat her. Expect to be treated with the same respect in a nudist colony as you are when you're clothed. Use this as your standard for understanding the type of unwanted attention you're getting.
-
Step 3
Regulate your own behavior. Obvious flirting, including a lot of touching, can send a different message in a nudist colony than it does when you're clothed. Pay attention to any unintended messages you're giving others to lessen the chance for unwanted attention.
-
Step 4
Realize that obvious staring in a nudist colony is even ruder than it is in an average public situation. Just because you're nude is no reason for another to stare. Politely tell the person that it's rude to stare. It may be her first time in a nudist colony, so be forgiving if she's apologetic.
-
Step 5
Use the same general strategies for handling unwanted attention in a nudist colony as you do outside of a nudist colony. For example, you can simply tell him that you're not interested in talking further with him or let him know you're busy if he's interrupting you. Any strategy you use outside of the nudist colony works inside the colony.
-
Step 6
Carry a towel with you to sit on at the nudist colony. If you're a man and you feel the potential of an erection occurring, cover your lap with your towel. A visible erection can easily get you unwanted attention--and also gets you thrown out of most nudist colonies.

on 6/18/2009 There is no such thing at a nudist colony. We visit nudist parks, camps, resorts, clubs, and beaches.
IF you get unwanted attention, contact the park or club management. They should deal with the offending individual.
