Organizing a twin baby shower doesn't always means twice the work. It's probably twice the fun instead. With some careful planning and creativity, you can organize a successful and enjoyable twin baby shower for both the parents-to-be and the guests.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
Decide on the kind of baby shower you want. Some classic ideas are a surprise baby shower, a ladies-only baby shower or one that involves the dad-to-be and other family members. Also choose a theme for the shower, such as Noah's Ark two by two or other twin-related ideas. Make the decor and invitations match the theme.
Step2
Plan the shower with both parents-to-be if it's not a surprise shower. Consult with the mom to be to set a time, date and place that suits her schedule. Take into consideration the stage of her pregnancy and select a time when she's still relatively comfortable and active to enjoy the shower.
Step3
Ask the parents to be specific about their needs. You can suggest they register at various bay stores to help the guests to choose a gift.
Step4
Obtain a guest list from her and send out the invitations at least two weeks before the shower to allow guests enough time to RSVP.
Step5
Create a menu of the food you'll serve. Assign dishes to friends or family members who've volunteered to help with the preparation of the food.
Step6
Plan a few shower games or assign someone to be in charge of the games and the prizes for the winners.
Step7
Have a budget and allocate the money accordingly to each need, such as invitations, food and prizes.
