How to Alert Manufacturers to Ecosystem Concerns

Companies today use many invasive manufacturing methods that can ultimately harm the ecosystem. It is important to alert companies with these practices so that they can identify and regulate these methods to prevent environmental destruction. Doing so helps hold companies accountable for the damage they do create.

Instructions

Difficulty: Challenging
Step1
Write to the company and question their impact on the ecosystem. Most companies provide an email address or phone number available for customers with questions or concerns.
Step2
Ask for a meeting with the company's management. This gives you a chance to alert someone who can make a difference in the company and has a say in how things are done.
Step3
File a complaint with your local environmental agencies. Government agencies have the resources and time to investigate your claims. If they find them to be true, the company may face sanctions.
Step4
Start a group to address your ecosystem concerns. Companies are more likely to listen when you show that other people share your views. Uniting will give your views more weight.
Step5
Sign a petition advocating ecosystem protection. In some cases, others have already started a movement towards change. Make sure that you agree with the message the petition is sending and remember to ask about any requirements the petition might have.
Step6
Attend a protest designed to alert the company about your concerns. As long as it's peaceful, protesting can be an effective and easy way to get a company's attention.
