  1. Step 1

Discover that hemp seed oil has natural chemical properties that makes it a good organic sunblock. It also doesn't block the absorption of Vitamin D like many chemical sunblocks do and it stimulates cell repair.

  2. Step 2

Look for a sun block that has a combination of hemp seed oil and chemical sunblock ingredients. This will provide you with the skin health benefits of the hemp seed oil and the extra UVA and UVB protection offered by the chemical sunblock.

  3. Step 3

Select a hemp oil based sun block that does not contain parabens. These chemicals can be harmful to your skin and aren't needed for an effective sunscreen.

  4. Step 4

Read the labels of your choices and select the product that has natural elements such as aloe vera and shea butter, which can improve the health of your skin.

Make sure you only apply hemp oil based sunblocks to external surfaces. Keep it away from your eyes.

Tips & Warnings
  • A recent news release from the USAF stated that hemp oil sunblocks and products could produce false positives for drug tests. Right now there isn't any scientific data that supports or negates this claim, but if you are required to take a drug test at work you may want to avoid hemp seed oil products until a solid verdict is reached.
