Easter scavenger hunts are a lot of fun to plan and play. If you're thinking about having an Easter scavenger hunt this year, here are some practical ideas for planning a hunt that your friends will remember for years to come. So break out the Easter eggs and start planning.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Decide on the specifics. There are many different ways that you can organize a scavenger hunt, so how you plan yours will depend on your time limit and the number of people participating. The more people you have playing, the more elaborate it can be.

  2. Step 2

Decide on a prize. One of the best parts of a scavenger hunt is the prize at the end for the one who solves all your clues, so decide what you want to use a reward. This can be something simple like candy or something even better like money or a trophy.

  3. Step 3

Go around your home and yard hiding little plastic eggs and toys in different places. Some of them should be harder to find than others, so get creative.

  4. Step 4

Type up your clues. Create a list of a dozen or so clues that will help the participants find the different treats that you have hidden. Make copies for everyone and hand them out at the beginning of the party.

  5. Step 5

Let the hunters have free rein of the house and yard and reward the person who finds the most items at the end of a set period of time.
