Step 1
Understand a Mormon girl's basic values. Mormon's are family oriented, and dedicated. Teenage Mormons go to seminary, usually early in the morning before school, and attend a youth group one night every week. The dating standards they adhere to are found in a pamphlet called "For the Strength of Youth" (see Resources below).
-
Step 2
Know her age. Mormons don't date until they are sixteen years old. Even then, they tend to want to start out on group or double dates.
-
Step 3
Be respectful. The quickest way to ruin a date with a Mormon girl is to talk inappropriately around her. That includes criticism of others as well as general foul language or jokes.
-
Step 4
Take her to a clean environment. You'll score big points by realizing that she won't watch an R-rated movie or step inside a bar or go to a concert with a band that uses vulgar lyrics in their songs. Also, don't drink or smoke around her.
-
Step 5
Be courteous to your date and her family. Go to her door to pick her up. Open doors for her. Bring her back home when you told her parents you would. Pay for the entire evening's activities.
-
Step 6
Keep your intimate expectations low. Hand holding and a few kisses are as far as you'll get. Most mormon girls plan to stay chaste until marriage.

on 12/27/2008 I'm not a mormon but did date a mormon girl for 2 years, got engaged and then unengaged and now are best friends. I didn't know a thing about the LDS chruch before meeting her. I made a lot of mistakes at first yet learned very quickly some of these rules. For example I took her to see the movie Borat (totally rated R) on our first date and found out that was not such a great idea. She would give me the "look" when ever I cursed, she really discourgaged my drinking and partying. There were also frustrating relationship boundries which were hard to oblige to since just about every mormon girl is incredibly hot.
The article is right on. Not all mormon girls take everything so seriously though and I really respect that she never pushed me to change my beliefs. She did invite the missionairies over but asked my permission first so that I could understand what they believed. I do have to
