Bathing twins can be a difficult task. Ideally, having two sets of hands is the best option, but that is not always feasible. However, with a few different props, bathtime for babies and parents can be an enjoyable.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Washcloth
  • Towel
  • Baby soap
  • Bouncy seat
  • Bath chair with suction cups.
  • Laundry basket, if no bath chair is available
  • Diaper cream
  • Baby lotion
  • Diapers
  • Clean clothes
  • Comb or brush
  1. Step 1

Use suction cup bath chairs. Put both chairs into the tub, bathe both children at the same time. The children will be confined, and it will make it much easier to bathe them together.

  2. Step 2

Utilize a bouncy seat. Another option is to put the seat on the floor next to you, and put one of the children in it. Bathe one child while the other sits in the seat next to you. Once the first child is bathed and dressed, put him or her into the seat while the second child is bathed.

  3. Step 3

Put laundry baskets in the tub to serve as bath seats if you do not have any bath chairs. Place the basket in the tub right side up, and put the child inside.

  4. Step 4

Rotate nights that the twins are bathed. For example, bathe one child on Wednesday evening and the other on Thursday evening.

  5. Step 5

Make use of a detachable shower head, if available. This allows the parent to directly spray soap off of the children.
