On the heels of her success with workout videos, Denise Austin decided to add an eating plan to her repertoire. Fit Forever encourages dieters to lose weight in a nutritionally sound manner. You can lose weight on her diet without suffering from feelings of major deprivation.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Decide how much weight you want to lose. Dieters who want to lose weight quickly can follow her 1,400 calories a day meal plan. Dieters who want to lose weight more gradually can stick to the 1,600 or 1,800 calories a day plans.
Step2
Control portions. Read the recommendations on all packages for the correct portion size. Measure out your foods, so that you eat the right- size portions.
Step3
Eat more fiber. Denise Austin promotes fiber's fat burning capabilities and recommends eating more brown rice, fruits and cereals.
Step4
Permit small indulgences. While following Denise Austin's diet, you are permitted small portions of your favorites, including brownies, chips and ice cream.
Step5
Exercise to lose weight and maintain cardiovascular health. You can purchase one of Austin's videos or work out on your own for at least 30 minutes, three to five times a week. To get recipes and meal plans for the diet, join Austin's website (see Resources below) or purchase her dieting book "Eat Carbs, Lose Weight."

Tips & Warnings

  • Austin recommends learning why you eat so you can detect the difference between eating out of hunger or to relieve unpleasant feelings, such as boredom or anxiety. Once you know the triggers, you can avoid the temptation.
