How to Export an OpenOffice Impress Presentation

You can export your OpenOffice Impress presentation into several different file formats, including HTML, PDF and Flash. The process takes seconds to complete and will produce a professional looking presentation in the file format you need.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Open the OpenOffice Impress presentation you would like to export to another application. Make sure the presentation is finished before you export it. Changes cannot be made to the exported file.

  2. Step 2

    Select the "File" menu and choose "Export" to open the "Export" dialog box. This is where you will choose your file and select how you want to export the Impress presentation.

  3. Step 3

    Choose to where you wish to export your Impress presentation by browsing your files using the "Save in" drop-down menu.

  4. Step 4

    Click on the "File format" drop-down menu to choose what type of file format you would like to export your Impress presentation.

  5. Step 5

    Name your exported presentation by using your keyboard to type a name in the "File name" text box.

  6. Step 6

    Use your mouse to click the "Save button" to bring up a corresponding dialog based on what file format you are exporting your presentation to.

  7. Step 7

    Follow the on-screen wizard to finish the exporting process for your Impress presentation.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can create a new folder to hold your exported Impress presentation by clicking the "New Folder" button in the top right corner of the "Export" dialog box.
