1
Measure 2 oz. of beeswax and 1 cup of extra virgin or cold pressed sweet almond oil in the top portion of your double boiler. Heat the mixture slowly, just until the wax melts. Don't overheat the oil, as high temperatures destroy the healing elements within the oil. The wax and oil mixture should never get so hot that you can't touch it.

2
Slightly heat 1 cup of water in a separate saucepan. Pour the warm water into your blender and add the oil from four 400 IU vitamin E capsules to the water. Vitamin E is an antioxidant which nourishes and protects the skin, but it is also a natural preservative that will help your hand cream to last longer.

Keep the blender running until the mixture cools and thickens into a smooth, even cream. Turn off the blender and scoop your cream into a small jar with a tight fitting lid. Allow the cream to cool thoroughly before sealing.

Prolong the life of your natural hand cream by keeping it in a cool and dark location. Use your cream twice daily, paying particular attention to your cuticles and nails. Watch as your nails take on a healthy, natural color.
