A baby shower offers the mom-to-be special attention, gifts and light-hearted fun. Baby shower games are a creative way to get guests involved. Learn how to play the "smell the goo" baby shower game using diapers, melted food and your imagination.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Learn the basics of the game and modify it to fit your party. Use clean disposable diapers and a number of gooey substances to play the game. Good gooey substances include chocolate, peanut butter, jams and jellies, melted marshmallows and mayonnaise.

  2. Step 2

Melt the "goo" if necessary and place it in the middle of the opened up diaper. Use enough goo to ensure it is noticeable and so that it doesn't absorb into the diaper.

  3. Step 3

Number the diapers and keep a master list with the correct goo identifications. Pass the diapers around to the guests and have each guest smell the diapers and write down a guess for each diaper of goo. The winner of the game is the person who makes the most correct guesses.

Tips & Warnings
  • Consider a theme for the smell the goo baby shower game. Different types of melted chocolate bars offer a fun challenge.
  • Offer enough goo-filled diapers to keep the game going at a good pace. Five diapers per 20 guests is a good rule to follow.
  • If your guest list is large but you can't fill many diapers, consider breaking the party up into teams.
  • Ask guests if they are allergic to peanut butter prior to using it in the game. Some sufferers of peanut allergy become ill if they smell peanuts.
