You can do the whip and a flip. Now add some pizazz by putting the two tricks together by doing a FMX no footed whip flip trick. You'll be sure to dazzle the crowds wherever you go. Who knows, maybe you could become the next Travis Pastrana.

Instructions

Difficulty: Challenging
Step1
Watch plenty of videos of the no footed whip flip on YouTube or Meta Café. Reverse, pause and do whatever it takes to break down the timing of this trick. It's not just a whip, or lifting your feet from the pegs, or a flip, but all three at once, so timing is crucial.
Step2
Take a few practice jumps. You can whip a few times, or flip a few times, giving yourself plenty of air, and concentrate on staying smooth.
Step3
Combine a whip with a back flip. You'll need to pull back on the handlebars as you whip your bike to the side. Remember to arch your head and body backwards over the back of the bike. Watch the ground carefully as you flip, keeping track of where you need to land. Straighten the bike out before you touch the ground so you have a smooth landing.
Step4
Lift your feet from the pegs as you whip and flip again, keeping your movements smooth and even. Put your feet back on the pegs when you get upright again, and make sure your bike's nice and straight before landing.
Step5
Pat yourself on the back. You've just done a FMX no footed whip flip. Go out and dazzle the crowds.
Step6
Be safe. Wear your protective gear and your helmet. Above all, take your time learning the trick. Working on each aspect of the trick before putting it together means that you'll be able to perform the no footed whip flip trick safely.
