Instructions

    • 1

Learn how to loop wire and you have learned how to bead. This takes practice.

    • 2

Count out an equal number of shells about ΒΌ-inch in diameter. Know that 20 shells will produce two cascade earrings.

    • 3

Thread the bead onto the eye pin and then create a loop in the wire.

    • 4

Take a pair of needle nose pliers and create a loop in the wire as you have practiced.

    • 5

Insert another bead and eye pin before you complete the loop of the first bead. You can close the first loop after the second step is completed.

    • 6

Systematize your technique. Each loop should be the same size, the shells should hang straight and the eye pin wire should not be visible.

    • 7

Tie each loop tight. Enclose the last bead and eye pin with the last loop. The bead cascade earrings are ready to wear.

Tips & Warnings

  • Practice how to make a loop in the wire-this will make the earrings look perfectly symmetrical.

  • Do not leave sharp edges on any of the wire ends or eye pins.
