How to Make a Knotted-Leather Bracelet
When making a leather bracelet, the softness of the leather is crucial, as is the width. Most leather is 9 to 11 inches in length. The completed leather bracelet will end up 7½ to 9 inches long. Engage in the art of braiding. Take the left strip of leather and place it over the middle strip.

Take the right strip of leather and place it over the left leather strip. The left strip is the original strip of leather.

Grab the new left strip--the original middle strip--and place it over the new middle strip, which was the original right strip of leather.

Poke the leather strip on top through the right hole. The bracelet will look like something has gone wrong--it hasn't.

Split the leather straps, take the right strip, and put it over the middle strip.

Select the left strip and place over the middle strip. There is only one more crisscross.

Rub the leather bracelet so the leather lies flat and the space between the knots are even.

Tips & Warnings
If you have more leather after completing the braiding, you can continue if you have enough to do Steps 1 and 2 together.
The shorter the strip length, the less braiding will be possible.
