How to Make Herbal Facial Cream
Herbal facial cream will penetrate the layers of the skin to provide moisture and nourishment, leaving your face with a healthy glow. Things You'll Need
- 1 cup grapeseed oil
- ¼ cup virgin coconut oil
- 1 tsp. lanolin
- ½ oz. beeswax, grated
- 2/3 cup distilled water
- ½ cup. aloe vera gel or juice
- Vitamin E at least 10,000 IU
- Vitamin A at least 150,000 IU
- 2 drops essential oil of your choice
- Clean cream or lotion jars

Make sure that all of the ingredients are at room temperature before you begin.

Combine the grapeseed oil, coconut oil, lanolin and beeswax in the top of a double boiler over low heat. Heat the ingredients only until they are melted.

Pour the melted ingredients into a glass measuring cup and let the mixture cool to room temperature.

Place the distilled water, aloe vera, Vitamin E, Vitamin A and essential oil in a blender. Blend it on the highest setting and as you are blending, drizzle the oil mixture into the blender.

When the lotion begins to thicken and the blender begins to slow, turn the blender off. Don't over-mix.

Pour the herbal facial cream into the cream or lotion jars and store it in a cool place. If you won't use it in a few months, store it in the refrigerator.

Tips & Warnings
If you have dry skin, substitute a heavier oil for the grapeseed oil. Sweet almond oil and apricot oil are good choices.
If you have acne, add several drops of evening primrose oil to the recipe.
