People love to try to discern the future, and Tarot is one of the ways to attempt to see into the future. The major arcana is the 22 card set that makes up a part of the Tarot deck, and the Fool card is the first card.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging

Things You’ll Need:

  • A Tarot deck
Step1
Look at the Fool card. Yes, just look at it.
Step2
Think about the basic meaning of the Fool, which is a beginning or a first step, particularly on a profound level, but also on a minute level.
Step3
Within the context of the meaning of the Fool card, look at the imagery of the card in your favorite deck. The more details you can pick out, the more meaning the fool will have for you.
Step4
Use the meanings you have discerned to relate the Fool card to the other cards that you have pulled in your reading.

Tips & Warnings

  • For example: If someone asks you a yes or no question, the answer with the Fool card will likely be "yes", because the idea of stepping forward is generally a positive one.
  • Your answers and ideas may vary from the books, and books may even contradict one another. Stick with what feels right to you.
