Step 1
Pay for a subscription to clip art sites such as Clipart.com, which offers a selection of over 8 million images, or iClipart, which has over 6 million images (see Resources below).
-
Step 2
Choose a more affordable option with free clip-art sites, although their selection is usually smaller. The Designed to a T website's clip art section offers thousands of clip art options (see Resources below).
-
Step 3
Check out the Designed to a T website where you have two options to search for flag clip art. Look at the categories offered and browse through "4th of July," "American" and "Memorial Day." Or you can use the search box to simply use search terms.
-
Step 4
Go to iClipart.com, which offers the option of searching their database before purchasing a subscription (see Resources below). Type "flag," "American flag," or "patriotic" into their search engine. If you find clip art that you want, you will have to purchase a subscription before the site allows you to download it.
-
Step 5
Visit the Ace Clip Art website (see Resources below). Flag clip art has a tab on the homepage. Browse through all their patriotic clip art and picture offerings.
-
Step 6
Choose the clip art you would like to download and right click on the image with your mouse. Of the options offered, select "Save Picture As."
-
Step 7
Choose a file name for your download in the window that opens. Click "Browse Folders" if you would like to save the clip art in a designated picture folder.
-
Step 8
Click "Save."
-
Step 9
Retrieve your picture for use in a project or for printing, by opening "Picture" on your computer's start tab and looking for your saved Memorial Day clip art.
