Celebrate Memorial Day by brightening someone else's day. Sending a Memorial Day e-card is a fast and easy way to let someone know that you are thinking of them. Since it is Memorial Day, why not send one to a veteran in your life to let them know that you appreciate their service.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Gather together the emails of the friends, family and veterans that you would like to send e-cards.

  2. Step 2

Go to a site that offers free e-cards, such as Christianity Today for inspirational e-cards, Hallmark, Blue Mountain or ThanksforYourService.org (see Resources below).

  3. Step 3

Click on the e-cards link at the top of the Hallmark and Blue Mountain sites. On the Christianity Today site, click on the "Free" tab, which will include a link to their free e-cards.

  4. Step 4

Maximize the Holiday Tab under the site's selection of e-cards. Holidays are organized by date on the Hallmark and Blue Mountain sites. Only seasonal holidays are under Christianity Today's "Holiday Wishes" section.

  5. Step 5

Click on the Memorial Day e-cards to view the selection of cards.

  6. Step 6

Browse through the cards offered to find ones for each person on your list. There are a variety available, from reflective to humorous and ones just for kids or military themed. Many of the e-cards contain animation and music, which you can preview by clicking on an individual card.

  7. Step 7

Select the cards that you would like to send.

  8. Step 8

Click on the "Personalize" button when you are ready to send your e-card. You will be asked to enter your email and the email of the person (or people) you are sending the card to.

  9. Step 9

Write a personal message to the recipient of the card in the provided box.

  10. Step 10

Click on the "Preview" button to see what the card will look like. When you are ready to send the card, click on "Send Card" button.

Tips & Warnings
  • Send all the people in your life Memorial Day greetings!
  • Send an e-card to veterans or men and women currently in military service.
  • Hallmark requires you to have an account to send their e-cards. This is free, and signing up will be prompted once you chose an e-card if you do not already have an account.
