3TBs pickling spice (Look for my pickling spice mix recipe)
I big yellow onion cut
5 garlic gloves peeled and whole
1 Cup water
Step1
Preheat the oven to 350degree. Rinse the corned beef, then place it with the fat side down in a roasting pan with a lid.
Step2
Add the pickling spice, onion, garlic, and water to the pan. Let it cook for an hour and a half, then turn it. Cook it for 45 minutes longer.Turn it back then cook for another half an hour.
Step3
Take it out of the oven and put it on a plate. Let it stand for 15 minutes before curving it so it won't loose its juices.
Step4
Serve it hot with sauerkraut (see my recipe for Kraut Went Wild) and Fried potatoes with pickling spices (see my recipe).
