How to Coordinate a Class Gift for your Child's Teacher

  1. Step 1

First decide on what a good gift for your class teacher would be. Here are some great suggestions; gift cards to book stores, office supply stores, or teacher supply stores, restaurants, spa day or movie theater.

  2. Step 2

Contact all the parents that you can be getting phone numbers and email addresses for parents. Tell them what you are trying to do and ask if they are interested in contributing to the gift.

  3. Step 3

Also ask the parents to have each kid make a homemade thank you card for all that the teacher has done for them throughout the year. You can include all of these with the gift card.

  4. Step 4

Make arrangement to go and pick the gift cards up and put the gift together in a cute gift bag or inside the card on a plant or bouquet of flowers.

  5. Step 5

Let the kids all present the gift to the teacher so it is from them and not from one parent in particular. If you put the gift cards with a plant or bouquet have them delivered to her at school and sign the card "from your students!"
