In this article you will learn how to make a dried pet shampoo. Unlike regular shampoo you don't have to get your pets wet when using dried pet shampoo, therefore making it easier to bathe them.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Vanilla bean
  • Orris root powder
  • Cornmeal
  • Brush
  • Large container with lid

Step1
Begin making a dried pet shampoo by splitting a vanilla bean. Place the split vanilla bean into a large container filled with 1 quart of orris root powder.
Step2
Cover the container, preferably with a lid, and allow it to sit for one week.
Step3
Sprinkle the dried pet shampoo over your pet and brush the shampoo in thoroughly. Once the dried pet shampoo has been brushed in thoroughly go ahead and brush it out.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you not have orris root powder then cornmeal can be used in place of it.
  • Do not use if your pet is allergic to any of the ingredients listed within this article.
