How to Make a Costume for a Pregnant Woman

Some pregnant women would prefer not to show off their curves in order to take emphasis away from their expanding tummy. But Halloween is not a time for shyness. This is a time that having a big belly can be used to your advantage and make you more creative. No more pumpkin costumes for pregnant ladies. Try something more fun, like the Kool-Aid Man.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Things You’ll Need:

  • Red leotard
  • Red pants or skirt
  • White gloves
  • White tights
  • Black permanent marker
Step1
First find a red leotard and red skirt or pants that fit. The leotard can be replaced by a tight T-shirt as your tummy must be the main feature of your costume.
Step2
With a pencil, sketch the face of the Kool-Aid Man where your belly will be. Since it is a simple face, you should not have much trouble. You could also make a cardboard stencil of the face to make it easier to transfer onto the leotard.
Step3
Try it on to make sure your drawing goes over the biggest part of your belly.
Step4
Once it is correctly placed on the leotard, take your black permanent marker and draw and fill in the face of the Kool-Aid man.
Step5
Try on your leotard, skirt/pants, white gloves and tights and have fun.
