- Pond Cypress Seeds

Step 1
Test your soil. Pond Cypress trees love acidic soil. Before planting your seeds, make sure the soil has an acidity level of less than 7. If not, add a little fertilizer and mix. Retest the soil until the ph reads below 7.

Prepare for planting. Once your soil is acidic, add the soil to the medium sized planting container and water the soil.

Plant your seeds. Pond Cypress trees love moist soil that is well drained. Plant your seeds 1/2" to 1" deep in the soil and water.

Wait, wait, wait. When growing a Pond Cypress from a seed, it can take a year or more for the seedling to be ready for outdoor planting.
